Show Me Chuy, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for an incredible dining experience. The attention to detail—from the service to the presentation—was exceptional. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal! Every bite was bursting with flavor, leaving me eager to come back and try more from the menu. I can’t recommend this place enough—definitely a must-visit!

This was a date night for my wife and me. We spent around $100 including tip, with just water—no alcoholic beverages. Food: The salads and bread were average. The Caesar salad was a bit bland, and the house salad came with a house dressing that had a noticeable olive flavor. The focaccia bread with herb and garlic spread was dense, and the spread itself lacked flavor. We started with a mushroom and crab meat appetizer, which was excellent. It featured a large portobello mushroom topped with crab meat and cheese, served with a flavorful sauce that included grilled peppers. For mains, my wife had the crab cakes, which were well-portioned. The center was cold initially, but the waiter quickly had them remade—great service. I had the octopus and shrimp, which was delicious. The shrimp were large, and the rice and vegetables were perfectly cooked. Service: The staff was attentive and responsive, especially when addressing the issue with the crab cakes. Overall: We were very pleased with the food. We don’t usually order salads, but decided to this time. While the food quality would definitely bring us back, the pricing felt a bit high for what we got. One tip: be sure to ask about the price of the specials before ordering.

Food: Ingredient Quality 10/10 Some of the freshest seafood I've eaten in Springfield. The shrimp, scallops, octopus, claws, mussels and red snapper was extremely tasty and fresh. Menu Variety Loved the combination of Mexican flavors and Italian. A wide variety menu with something for everyone. Value Definitely got value for my money. We had so much seafood and drinks and dessert and our bill was very reasonably priced. Service: Attentiveness The most friendly staff. Payton the bartender gave exceptional service and amazing mixed cocktails. Attitude The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely be back. Ambiance: Atmosphere Loved the at your family home for Sunday dinner vibes. Such a cozy and inviting space. My absolute favorite is sitting at the chefs kitchen and watching your food being made. Location Great location, very close to highway 65 and easy to find. Parking Lots of parking available I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and my visit. The best part of coming to this restaurant for me is the big and funny personality of Chef Chuy. We are definitely customers for life and can't wait to go back.

Went to dinner with my beautiful wife tonight, let me tell you something, this is by far is one of my favorite. I had the ribeye with crab meat on top add shrimp with mash potatoes and vegetables, my wife had the chicken with mash potatoes poplano sauce and they were both delicious. Highly recommend this place if you live in Springfield or if you're in town. 5 stars all the way around, chef Chuy and his wife Judith did an amazing job, staff were really friendly. Can't wait to dine in again and keep up the great job.

Excellent experience the whole way through. I love what they've done with the place atmosphere wise. Our service was phenomenal. Most importantly the food was on point. Toasted ravioli and fresh bright red sauce set the stage well. The Mexican lasagna was a really fun fusion and tasted amazing too. Chorizo penne was delicious with a great depth of flavor. Finishing things off with their little churro hearts. Those were pretty good too but a little dense. Everything seemed fresh and very well presented. Would definitely recommend you try. It's a little upscale in terms of pricing, but not horrible. We spent $85 (including tip) for two entrees, app, and desert. And it fed our group of three and then some. Wishing this place great continued success

Can't say enough about how great the brunch is here at Show Me Chuy. Had the aguachile de shrimp and the chilaquiles verdes. Then Chef Chuy brought some seared queso panela with a spicy salsa. Mimosa with fresh-squeezed oranges was really tasty. Highly recommend Chuys for brunch, lunch, or dinner!

Our appetizer, the Pulpo Zarandeado (Grilled Octopus), tasted just like meat and had a nice hint of citrus. The Linguine Vongole (Pasta with Clams) was a bit salty but otherwise really tasty seafood pasta. The Lamb Chops were good, not too gamey but unevenly seasoned. The vegetables that came with the lamb chops were overcooked. The Pollo Pablo (Pan-sautéed Chicken Breast) was topped with a delicious poblano pepper sauce. The Lasagna of the Day was not bad. The Chamorro de Puerco (Slow-Cooked Pork Shank) was my least favorite, as the sauce was underwhelming. The Chocolate Seduction Cake was average. Overall, all the meats we ordered were tender. The portion sizes are on the smaller side, but that's expected from fine dining. I liked that the owner's son came in and checked on us. The concept of Italian-Mexican fusion is neat, so I hope they continue to refine their craft.

The food and service was absolutely amazing here! We got the veal parmigiana, walleye, and lobster ravioli as mains, as well as the calamari for an appetizer. Everything was full of flavour and had beautiful presentation. Our server was very nice and attentive, and the interior of the place was elegant. I would definitely come back!
